Favourite charity Mencap -the leading UK charity for people with
a learning disability and their families. Endeavouring to bridge
the gap within society, Proud is dedicated to creating an
environment that will provide people with a learning disabilities
the opportunity to widen their social circles and meet new people
in a relaxed atmosphere.
We will be hosting a series of nights that embrace those with a
learning disability. The nights will offer DJ's and bands with a
learning disability the chance to perform. July 8th 2009 will kick
off with Heavy Load - the UK's first and only punk band comprised
of musicians with and without learning disabilities.
